Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 19th October 2026

Welcome to The GuitarBaba.

These terms explain how guitar lessons and mentorship are booked, paid for and conducted.

By booking lessons or making a payment, you agree to the following conditions.

1. Lesson Structure

Monthly lessons consist of four sessions within the paid month.

Quarterly, six-month and annual plans include four regular lessons per month, plus additional lessons included in the plan.

The additional lessons are intended to be spread across the plan period, allowing students to attend approximately five lessons per month.

The total number of lessons and the validity period are specified on the Plans & Pricing page.

2. Payments and Booking

Monthly Lessons

  • Bookings for the upcoming month open on the 20th of each month.
  • Payment must be made between the 20th and 25th to confirm the student's regular slot for the upcoming month.
  • Booking reminders are sent by WhatsApp broadcast. Students are responsible for completing payment within the booking window.
  • Students who wish to change their usual day or time must contact me before making payment. Alternative slots are subject to availability.
  • Unpaid slots may be released after the 25th and offered to other students.

Longer-Term Plans

  • Quarterly, six-month and annual plans must be paid for in full in advance.
  • Each month, students must confirm whether their existing lesson day and time still work for them.
  • If a change is required, alternative slots will be offered subject to availability.
  • Additional lessons must be scheduled within the applicable plan period.

Lesson Validity

  • Monthly lessons are valid only within the paid month and cannot be carried forward.
  • Lessons under longer-term plans are valid only within the applicable plan period. Unused lessons expire at the end of that period and cannot be carried forward.

Payments are subject to the Refund Policy.

3. Attendance and Rescheduling

  • Sessions begin and end at the scheduled time.
  • Same-day cancellations or rescheduling requests cannot be accommodated. The session will be marked as absent and will not be eligible for rescheduling or a refund.
  • A minimum of 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time is required to request a rescheduled session.
  • A maximum of one rescheduled session per month is permitted.
  • Rescheduling is subject to availability. An alternative date and time must be agreed upon and confirmed.
  • Rescheduled sessions must be completed within the applicable lesson validity period.

4. Technical Requirements and Online Conduct

Students are responsible for ensuring they have:

  • A stable internet connection.
  • Adequate lighting.
  • A tuned instrument.
  • A suitable, distraction-free environment for lessons.

If technical issues occur on either side, adjustments may be made where reasonably possible.

5. Recording

Sessions may be recorded for internal review, security and quality purposes.

Recordings will not be shared publicly without written consent.

6. Discontinuation

If a student repeatedly demonstrates a lack of engagement or effort, mentorship may be discontinued after written notice.

Any lessons already paid for will be honoured until the end of the applicable paid period.
